I have created a database with odoo test data. I got some records in incoming shipments. The created time of the record is 2015-June-16 15:30:00. i have changed user time zone to PST8PDT, and Asia/Kolkatha, and MST8MDT. The record creation date and time remains same. How can i change my user time zone in odoo-7. Does existing user timezone option working fine?. Can any one help me solving this issue please?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

Not sure if it is the same issue but I had a problem in Odoo8 that regardless of the timezone in Odoo, I was always get UTC time.
During my research I found this website that helped:
