This will be available in Odoo 19 - it is currently part of Odoo 18.3

Yes, Odoo does support business card scanning, but only in the Odoo Mobile App for Android and iOS. This feature helps you quickly convert business cards into CRM leads or contacts.
How It Works
- Install Odoo CRM on your mobile device.
- Navigate to CRM > Leads or Contacts.
- Click the camera icon to scan a business card.

Odoo uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract:
- Name
- Phone number
- Company
- Address
- It auto-fills the fields to create a lead or contact.
Requirements
- Available in Odoo Enterprise only.
- Requires Odoo Mobile App (not desktop).
- OCR processing may use a 3rd-party API under Odoo's managed cloud.
Limitations
- Does not support bulk scanning.
- OCR accuracy depends on image clarity and card layout.
- Not available in Community Edition.

Hi Seetha, have you found some solution for scanning of business cards, so user doesn't need to retype contacts from a card ?
Even copy-paste from email signature would be a great help.
Unfortunately not Vlastimil. I do not see a solution available as of date unless I may be mistaken.
