We are subcontracting everything and I we have so many BOM changes in the company. So I got a request to find a way how to display BOM version( revision)in Purchase order lines for subcontracting and also in LOT/SN page according to which it was produced. 

So basically, if once I purchased device with BOM version 1 and after a while we updated BOM to version 2, I want to return to this purchase order and to check that it was assembled by subcontractor according to version 1. For now I manage only to display BOM version inside related MO for subcontracting but it's hard to navigate from purchase orders to this MO to see BOM version. So I'd like to find a solution how to display it in purchase order page as well as in LOT/SN page for this product.

I see the challange that hardly possible to solve with Odoo studio, because usually one line in purchase order( for example one product with quantity 10) has 10 individual MO for each specific LOT/SN and then I have like many2one link and I'm quite shure BOM version would be never changed within one subcontracting order. So in this case it'd be fine to display maybe BOM version from the 1st one MO. 

So has anybody got same challenge? I'd like to see any ideas how to resolve it! Thanks
