I have a customer (ACME company) which have 2 contacts that can access my portal web. But they have different responsabilities and because of that should not see certain info.

- Willie E. Coyote works on the purchase department and need to access quotes, invoices and so on.

- The Road Runner works in the IT department and should be able to raise tickets, search in theknowledge base but it certainly shouldn't have access to quotes and invoices.

Is that possible? To give different access rights on the portal to different portal users?

Thanks. AFAIU, I should need to check permissions for every user.

I would like to create a group and use it to "reduce" permissions, but given that they're in the "User Type/Portal" group they will receive the permissions I don't want.

Of course, I can reduce access to the "User Type/Portal" group and create complementary groups with the permissions I take away from it. Is that dangerous?

One more question: I used record rules to avoid portal users to see a specific blog (which is for internal users only) but then when portal users go to blogs they see an error message. Is there a way to not give error but just not showing that particular blog while showing the others? Currently I'm using the subtitle of the blog to understand which one is the "only for employees blog".
