Delete dependencies

Question

Hi, guys. Is it possible to uninstall invoicing and accounting module in Odoo without uninstalling other modules? such as sales, purchases. Because I want to use another finance software so I don't need an accounting and invoicing module in odoo.

Hi Tiara,
Sometimes, one module need another module as dependency to run well.
I've checked in my Odoo 12, Purchase app need Accounting app (Invoicing part) to be working . If you want to double check, you can enter debug mode and go to app you would like to check. Later on, in technical tab, scroll down until you find dependency.
You also need to check another custom addons you added before (if any), because it might also use accounting app as it's base dependency.

One module need another module as dependency to run all the features it has.
If you want to check the dependency, you can enter debug mode and go to app you would like to check. Later on, in technical tab, scroll down and see the dependency.
Then you will find the dependency of the apps. But the easiest way is to go https://www.odoo.com/pricing [1]  and hover on the clip button.
