When a customer logs into the website and click to change there details the address is in a different format to what is in the contact menu when you edit the customer. how do I get details on the website to be the same as in the contact menu.

is it possable to give customers access to edit there address details in the contact menu where they have multiple delivery address

UPDATE

I have edited the portal.my.details to show the fields House and door number. if these values are already in the customer record it shows correctly, but if I input them into this form and click submit I get an Error, Unknown field 'street_number,street_number2,street_name,street2'

what have I Missed
