I'd like to be able to track the product bought by each customer. Is that part of OpenERP basic options ?

OpenERP links to the Orders from each customer, via the QUOTATIONS AND SALES button on a Customer record.
To see the items, you would need to create a view for the lines on each order. You could then filter this by a particular customer (What are all the products customer X has bought? How many? and When?) or a product (Who bought product X? How many? and When?).
You could create a button on the Customer that pre-filters this view just for that Customer, much like the way the Order view is pre-filtered when you click QUOTATIONS AND SALES.
