Hey,

I'm looking to configure some custom routes for manufacturing. What I have in mind is the following:

- If product is BUY/MTO create a PO automatically on confirmation (this already works), but when receiving the product it should go straight to Pre-Production not Stock (this does not work)

- If a product is BUY and is already in Stock use the 2-Step manufacturing route (Picking and then manufacture)

I've created a route that attempts to do this but I get an error saying  " No procurement rule found in location "WH/Stock" for product". Now I've watched videos and tutorials, but all of them have a different UI showing a separation between "Push Rules" and "Procurement Rules" but I only have "Rules" so I haven't found any documentation matching what I'm looking for. Any ideas?

Odoo merged "Push Rules" and "Procurement Rules" in Odoo 12 but the basic functionality didn't change. It makes it easier to use but older videos can be confusing as a result.

@Kanakinfosystems

I'll take a look at it, but I'm not sure that is what I need... thanks anyways

@Mindaugas

I found the error there, I had removed the "buy" route for a product, so that error is fixed, but I'm not getting the behaviour I need.

Overall what I want to accomplish is for the arriving products  (purchased as MTO) to "skip" picking and go to pre-production. And for products in stock to "Require" picking. What I have now is all MTO products requiring picking and the ones in stock not being reserved and only consumed until I produce.

I'll try some experiments with the put away strategy and see if that does what I want (although this would only be half of my problem solved). Thanks for your replies!

can you describe route and rule for this, when you get error. it is quite complicated, but after configuration works good.
