I recently faced a similar challenge while trying to print compact, custom labels directly from sales orders, especially when dealing with specific dimensions like 2x2" for thermal printers. Odoo’s built-in options are quite limited when it comes to non-standard sizes, so we had to explore a more tailored approach.

One effective solution we found was to create a custom label template using QWeb reports. It allows you to define your exact layout including the sales order number, item lines, and total while setting precise dimensions for the label. Just be sure your printer supports custom page sizes via its driver settings.

By default , odoo have only few label sizes. So you will have to customize the label based on your requirement.

Alternatively you can try this module https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/16.0/garazd_product_label , which is available in odoo apps store
