Hi community,
We are an IT outsourcing provider and we often go to customer site on demands to fix a problem or for weekly support.
We have a contract with the customer. Every time one of our engineer goes on-site customer, we print with excel a form which we called work order describing the product sold to the customer from the sales order with the date of the visit to the customer. At the end of the visit when the work is done, the engineer have the work order signed by the customer.
Since we are now with Odoo version 10, we are looking in a way to reproduce this in Odoo. Creating the work order from Odoo and having the client signing it on the engineer IPad at the end of his visit.
This is not limited to It support as this could be done when a user training is giving to a customer on a specific software.
Does anyone have any idea if that is possible in Odoo version 10?
Thank you
Philippe
Hi Mohammed,
Thank you for the feedback but that is not exactly what I am looking for.
What I want in this case is a document that my engineer will fill in with what he did during his service at the client office. And the client is signing this document.
Then when we do the invoice for this service, we attached this document as a reference that the work is done and for safe keeping.
I was thinking of using a task on a project link with the sales order, so the engineer once he is done, fills in the timesheet with the time he spent and what he did.
But then I need a document or a place where the client signs it to approve the work of the engineer, which will then be attached to the invoice.
There is also the tool that lets customer sign in online document. But I have not tested it and I am not sure if I can implement it with the sales order and the timesheet of the sales order.
Hope that makes sense.
