Is it possible to create a tree view that shows the following information:

_______________________________________________________________________

| Product Name   |   Stock Chicago    |   Stock Miami     |    Stock Boston    |  Total Stock   |

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

| 320Gb HDD       | 30.00                     | 22.00                | 9.00                      | 61.00             |

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's kind of uncomfortable going to Menu -> Reports -> inventory analysis -> Group by location every time to check stock of a product.

Hello Jorge, did you try this?

Warehouse -> Configuration -> Locations -> (select the locations from the check boxes) -> Print -> Location Inventory Overview

Or if you want to see the stock distribution of one single product:

Warehouse -> Products -> Products -> (go to the form view of the particular product) -> More -> Stock by Location

Currently which version you are using ?

If V8, that is possible without customization.

It would be possible but chalenging as you need to dynamically change your model to adapt to the change in the (number of) Locations.  If you can somehow "fix" the Locations, you might want to try to develop a fix model with cross-tab query view as the source.
