Hello, I am currently using Odoo 9.0 Community.

I am following the tutorials [1]   in order to create a new theme.

I am stuck at the very beginning of the tuto, at the section "Installing your theme".

The tutorial says:

To install your theme, you just place your theme folder inside addons in your Odoo installation.

Ok, fine

After that, navigate to the Settings page, look for your theme and click on the install button.

I navigate to my settings, but can't find my Theme, or where to select it.

What I am trying to find is something like this:

But what my ODOO actually shows in the webpage:

Is this due to the fact that I am using the community (9.0) version?

This is very simple

First you should go to the "ABOUT" icon on the right hand side of the upper menu, and click on "ACTIVATE THE DEVELOPER MODE"

then as you go to the "APPS" menu, you can see "UPDATE APP LIST"

After clicking your list would be updated

Note that you need to delete the "APP" filter on your search bar while looking for your theme

Hi Jesús Redondo,

You activate the developer mode

The menu "Update App list" will appear under the "Apps" menu
