When creating a SO of a consumable that is not in stock a PO (RFQ) is automatically created.

Now i have created a SO of a Storable Product that is not in stock. But no PO or RFQ are automatically created.

How can I now generated a PO to order those products i have sold. (I know the best way is to use 'make to order' or 'manufacture', but in this case i didnt have those options configured for the product) Without having to make an order manually and adding each orderline from that SO.

For storable products you should create a reordering rule (Inventory > Master Data > Reordering Rules) – to notify Odoo that you want to re-supply that product when the level of stocks is critical.

Here you can identify the minimum level under which an RFQ would be generated. You can set it as zero, for example. The maximum level is to which level you want to re-supply.

For example, you have min 5 and max 15. It means that when you make a sale order for 3 units, and only 4 are forecast in inventories, Odo will try to procure 15-4 = 11 units.

Take into account that re-ordering is done not in real time (not as soon as you sold), but automatically by cron job or manually by launching the scheduler.

Its clear i should have made my products 'make to order', but too late now, even if i change them now there will no PO be created.
