Hi,

I want to give my employees the rights for create and edit for the POS orders in POS module, and to create and edit quotation and sales orders.

But is there any way to do this, without creating the User ID for every employee?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to grant employees the rights to create and edit POS orders as well as quotations and sales orders without creating a separate user ID for each employee. In Odoo, you can achieve this by creating a user group with the desired access rights and then assigning employees to that group. Here's how you can do it:

1. Create a User Group: Go to Settings.

Under the Users & Companies section, select Groups.

Click on Create to create a new group.

Give the group a name, such as "Point of Sale & Sales Orders Access".

Define the access rights for this group. You can specify permissions for POS orders, quotations, sales orders, and any other relevant features.

2. Assign Employees to the User Group: Go to Employees under the Employees section.

Select the employee(s) to whom you want to grant access.

In the employee's form view, go to the Access Rights tab.

Add the user group you created in step 1 to the employee's groups.

3. Configure Access Controls:

Ensure that the permissions granted to the user group cover the desired actions, such as creating and editing POS orders, quotations, and sales orders.

Double-check that the access rights are appropriately configured to meet your requirements.

Hope it helps
