We need to be able to create and attach a document to the contact/customers screen. Just to clarify we have created a correspondence tab on the customer screen. When a user clicks on that tab they will see a screen which has two button saying create document, then a list of document below which have been created previously. The buttons allow the user to create either a Sample document or a General document. This document will pull the header and footer information from Odoo and the user can then edit this document adding in the necessary text until they are satisfied. At this point they can print the document. Once printed the document will be saved to our server (or google drive) and a short cut to a PDF version of this document will appear to the right of the screen. I would have thought being able to create bespoke printable letters and keep a link to them somewhere on the customer screen would have been a fundamental part of any CRM system, so perhaps we are missing something really basic, if so please help. Any help with the above would be greatly appreciated.
