I must be missing something obvious!

I've got a BOM and each of the items on the BOM has a cost associated with it, yet the BOM cost is still showing as zero.

How do I get it to show me the total cost of the BOM? (Odoo 11 online, by the way)

Thanks

Kevin

Hello Kevin,

There is a module call MRP_Accounting(Enterprise), once you will install this module. You can able to print cost analysis report which will give you the details about overall raw material cost of this order.

for Simple BOM cost

Go to Master Data > BOM > BOM Cost report

<old answer>Sorry Jainesh - this appears to be costing a manufacturing order - I just want a simple BOM cost</old answer>

Ah, ok - I have found that report. So are you saying I have to run the report on each of my assemblies, and then manually enter it in each item?

That seems bonkers - everytime a component price changes, it means someone first has to run a where-used report, then someone has to re-run the BOM cost report and then finally enter the new costing in the affected assemblies. This is what computers are for!
