Hi@all,


I'm trying to get used to Odoo (Version 12 Community Version / UCS-Server App). The initial setup and the creation of test data was no problem.
Where I have problems are the reports (offer, invoice etc.).
In the manual (link in the programme) I find nothing to this.
Apparently there are also different ways. Once per code and once QWeb (graphical).
I can't find QWeb in my installation. Does it even exist for the community version?

Is there a documentation that describes the concept and the usage?

Not sure what exactly what you looks for, if you are looking for the documentation about how the reports work in odoo, see this: QWeb Reports

UPDT:

seems your alignment of the report is lost, in order to resolve this, activate the developer mode and navigate to Settings -> Technical -> Parameters -> System Parameters and create a record with following values.


Key: report.url
Value: ip_adrress:port/host name of ur instance

Thank you, that's it. But it only works with:

http://0.0.0.0:8069

With the IP or hostname in the URL, everything remains unchanged in Report. I think this is ok?

Besides the YouTube video (where I don't understand anything) do you know a good introduction how to create or customize reports?

The template I like (Boxed) does not fit the German letter format. Also, both my address and the customer's address have the house number before the street name. In Germany it is the other way around.

Last but not least, the logo looks a bit pixelated.

I have created an offer in Odoo which contains a test position. When I print -> PDF it looks terrible. To be seen here:

In the settings -> company I have added our logo. This does not appear. In general I would design the header and footer like our stationery.

The article (position) is squeezed to the left edge.

I would like to use this for printouts (PDF) for offers, orders, orders, invoices ... etc.

The first link you posted does not work. I already found the second one but I don't understand a word. Does this guy speak Klingon? (Fun!) ... No, I really don't understand anything although my english is not the worst.
