My manufacturing model is: Pick components then manufacture (2 steps)
I have one final product with BOM, routes : MTO + Manufacturing
I have some components, routes: MTO + Buy
once I confirm a sales order, manufacturing order and purchase order are created. in manufacturing order, availability of components is "unavailable". once I confirm purchase order and receive the product, the status of the component in MO is changed to "available", although I have not yet done the picking process as my manufacturing model has 2 steps. I have to first do the picking from stock to pre-production, then the MO can use those components and mark them as "available".
What is missed configured here? currently, I can produce product while I do not have the required components in pre-production location, which leads to negative stock of the components.
