I read the instructions re how to format us checks but do not know how to open template that is mentioned to enter ckus_stub.

You can install the odoo debug addon in your browser for activating the developer mode easily.

You can activate the developer mode and navigate to Settings -> Technical -> User Interface -> Views and search for ckus_stub to get the report template.

How do I activate the developer mode? I am a new user so I am not up to date on the processes yet.

I am still having problems getting into the process to format checks. I found the developer mode but cannot find Technical-User Interface-View-Search steps that were presented to format checks.
