Hi all,
I'm having a problem with currency change in our DB - just for test I tried to change Main Currency from HRK to EUR and got message "You cannot change the currency of the company since some journal items already exist" - there are many sales in DB and it has been actively used with HRK as main currency but in few months from now Croatia will start using EUR as currency and we will have to change it in Odoo.
As we are doing business outside Croatia we already have pricelists in EUR and USD. How can we change main currency safely without deleting any data?
I have come to some solutions where it is suggested to delete data but in this case it's not possible really.

I hope there is no risk to go to prison if you delete official data. I mean, just be careful.
Yeah, I won't risk it for sure. I'm still waiting for official accounting expert to answer this question - will post it here once I have it.

You can't change the currency if you already have journal items because all finance transactions registered in journal in the main currency.
@Waleed Mohsen that is correct, I got this information before asking here. So the only solution would be to do it in the begining of the fiscal year.
