I'm trying to change my vendor bill sequence, but i see no effect. I changed the short code on the jornal and no results.
The current sequence showing is (R1, R2, R3, R4)

There are a few potential reasons why you might not be able to change the vendor bill sequence in Odoo:
Journal Configuration: Make sure that you have selected the correct journal in the configuration. Go to Accounting > Configuration > Accounting > Journals, and check that the journal you want to use for vendor bills is selected.
Sequence Configuration: Verify that you have set the correct sequence for vendor bills in the journal. Go to Accounting > Configuration > Accounting > Journals, edit the journal, and in the sequences tab, make sure that the correct sequence is selected for vendor bills.
Active/Inactive Sequence: Make sure that the sequence you want to use is active. Go to Accounting > Configuration > Accounting > Sequences, and check that the sequence you want to use is active.
Short Code: Make sure you change the short code in the sequence you want to use for vendor bills, not in the journal. Go to Accounting > Configuration > Accounting > Sequences, edit the sequence you want to use for vendor bills, and change the short code.
Prefix/Suffix : Check if the prefix/suffix of the sequence is set correctly.
Cache: Sometimes, Odoo can hold the old sequence in cache, try to restart the Odoo server to clear the cache.
Check if the sequence is not linked to other records: Go to Accounting > Configuration > Accounting > Sequences, edit the sequence you want to use for vendor bills, and check if it's not linked to any other records.
