I want to change the background color of the header and footer in the emails sent to clients (sale, invoice, delivery, etc.) This is not in ->Email->Templates, you only change the content of the email body !

I changed addons/sale/data/mail_template_data.xml to my needs, but It is not working.  Is this the right file? Do I have to change it for every module separately or is there one general template?

Hi,

For the version prior to 12: you should change another email template. It is placed in the module mail (data/mail_data.xml) and it is called 'Notification Email'. However, better change it through the interface to avoid translation issues.

For the version 12: it seems there is a need to change qweb templates which are also placed in mail/data/mail_data.xml
