When importing a product's eCommerce category (public_cate_ids), I get an error although there is no matching record found although I have an eCommerce category set up.

I confirmed the category exist because if I export a product that has the eCommerce category assigned and import it, I get the same error.

Has anyone experiencing a similar issue and found a solution?

I have been struggling about this problem for some time too, but then I tried to import the categories with the parent category, For example, if your product category is All/Consumable/T-Shirts, then you just import T-Shirts in the category field, it will work fine.

But there is still problem if you have same sub-category for different parent categories, if anyon can solve this please leave message, thanks~

I had the same problem. What you can do is import the E-commerce categories.
Put the products in the field product_tmpl_ids separated by commas.
