Hello community,
I am in [Projects > Tasks > Pivot View] and I created a filter that I want to share publicly.
This worked.
But I noticed an error in my filter definition - so I wanted to delete that filter.
I first get a normal warning that I am about to delete a global filter, which I confirm with OK.
Then I get the following error and the filter is not deleted:
Access Error Due to security restrictions, you are not allowed to delete 'Filters' (ir.filters) records.
Records: PS Example Budget/Spent/Remaining NON-BILLABLE (id=378)
User: Arjen Hiemstra (id=268)
This restriction is due to the following rules:
- ir.filters.own.rule.delete
Contact your administrator to request access if necessary. |
How can I fix this?
Ideally I would like that every user that created shared filters can delete the filters they shared.

it will be deleted by your administrator. because there are other public users attached to this filter.
Is that out-of-the-box behavior? That would be worth an Enhancement Request I think?
My expectation is: When I create a filter and make it available publicly, I should also be able to change or delete that filter that I shared?
