Please guide me how to correctly enter journal entries. please refer to the attached link and image

Hello Avinash,

I tried it by putting same value in to debit and credit column so that both sums are equal. But then i got below error.

"Wrong credit or debit value in accounting entry !"

Hi,

In the image you have shared, it seems that you are entering the debit and credit in the same line(journal items), that is why you are getting the above error message. What you have to do is that you have to make separate journal items for the Credit and Debit.

Sum of the credit and debit field should be equal to create a journal entry.
