I just bought the IoT box and received it. I first want to make sure that I can test it in my testing database before using it in production. Is it a good idea?

It is important to understand that the IoT box has a memory. This means that if I connect it to a database, I will have to unlink it from this testing database and re-link it to the production database.
In summary, this would make you do some double work. That is why we advise to connect it directly to the production database if possible.
