I know it sounds ridiculous. But, I have been wondering if I can make Odoo e-commerce like eBay. So people can create their accounts, have their profiles, and buy and sell in one place while my company gets a commission for every product sold?

I don't think so.. :D
Odoo will have a few honderd dev people working on the full odoo product, eBay properly a few thousands only working on only one website / platform.
