We are moving data from Odoo 11 to 12. Unfortunately we have to manually add a few hundred tasks. Each time a task is assigned to a person he/she will receive an email.

Can we disable this?

Hi,

You can change the notification management to Handle in Odoo from the Preference. Go to Settings -> Users & Companies -> Users and open each user or the user whom you are going to assign the task and in the Preference page in the form, set the notification management field value to Handle in Odoo.


Also you can check the email you have received from the odoo, i guess there will be unsubscribe option in it.

Hi,

  1. Go to the Settings -> users -> select all users via check box on the top left corner and go top of the users list view you can see the action button click the Export option -> add name and notification management field and export as csv.

  2. Then open downloaded file and replace the text Handle by Emails to Handle in Odoo text file save it

  3. Go to the settings -> users -> click import button and load the changed csv file. 

Now All users get notification via odoo system pop up notification not mail.
