I have two specific situations where the current calendar system in Odoo is just not sufficient.

Genetic Counselling

In this situation there is a secretary taking calls and setting up meetings. The specific problem is that there is currently no way to specify the free or available time.

IT Consulting

Exactly the same problem. Our staff do not have normal working hours and each person might work at different times of the day and be available at different times. The current calendaring system do not have support to give an idea of when the staff are available to be schedule.

Suggested solutions

I'm pretty sure if Odoo spend some time on this they will come up with an even better solution but to this end here is some of the possibilities and features that I and I'm sure other companies might need.

1. Super impose different calendars together

  - The ability to super impose different calendars together would make it possible to have a free busy calendar display as say level 1 and the second calendar super imposed on that.
