Hello, i would like to buy a product under a specific order name and sell it under a different name.

For example, im buying a product from vendor A. I need to make a purchase order with the product named lets say "Nutella".

Now i want to stock this product as a "Nutella". But i want sell the same product to my customer as a product "Peanut butter".

Is something like that possible in odoo ? So i can order 100kg of "Nutela" and then sell that Nutella it to a specific customer as as 100kg of "peanut cream" ? Is that possible ? and how so ?

thanks.

Yes. It's possible. You can specify the vendor's product name when you configure the vendor on the product template.

Hi Paresh,

Why can I see this feature in the demo database but not in my original one?

PS: I am using Odoo 14

Hi Leonardo,

Sorry, just saw this.

Check the following:
a. Purchase app is installed. Go to Purchase > Configuration > Vendor Pricelists
b. The Product has the "Can be Purchased" attribute selected if you are trying to access it from the Purchase tab on the Product Template/Variant form view.

Hope this helps.
