Environment: Odoo Version: 17.0/18.0 (Enterprise/Community), Module: Discount and Loyalty, POS


Business Requirement:

In a Retail Business there are multiple Buy 1 Get 1 promotions configured and products are sold.  Once a promotion product is scanned, the free product is automatically loaded into the cart.  Similarly when a promotion product is deleted, the free product needs to be automatically deleted.  Also when the free item is tried for deletion from cart, it should not be allowed.  If cashiers are allowed to do this manually, they might mis-use by deleting the free-item from the cart and taking the free item for themselves.


Questions:

1. How can we achieve this in default Odoo?
