I activated the barcode features in Inventory and my database went from a free plan to a trial plan. Since the database only runs 1 app (inventory), I was wondering if working with barcodes is a paid feature? And if not, how to get back to a free plan?

Barcodes are available in Enterprise Edition. If you need it in the Community edition you can either Third-partThird-party Modules from Odoo apps store
