When you receive an incoming email in Odoo from a new customer, the message is attached to the partner connected to your user which is OK. 

But when you click on "Send a message" on your partner profile, the incoming email address is automatically attached as recipient.

Is there a way to avoid this or is it necessary to override the mail.js file in Odoo?

Nobody know what to do with it ?

I have the same problem. Sending email I'm not even sure it goes to the recipient ?

but some other people receiving it ....
