Hi there!

Hopefully anyone can help me here. I'm trying to find a way to autostart my odoo-server on startup. I found several tutorials for Ubuntu and Odoo 9 (https://www.linode.com/docs/websites/cms/install-odoo-9-erp-on-ubuntu-14-04), and I found a snippet for odoo-server (here: https://gist.github.com/csrocha/3c659a74ad2b5919e904) but nothing for Mac and Odoo 10. I'm stucked – can't get it to work on my Mac ...

Please for a hint or a link! Thanks and regards, Diana

@ Jose: Thanks for your help! I'm looking forward to the instructions. Do you know a good tutorial for installing the odoo-10-version on a mac? I did so, but not everything is working fine. So I want to try to install it again.

@ Gregory: Thanks for your suggestion. But version 10 isn't supported yet on Bitnami ...

Hi Diana, I had exactly the same problem. There's not a single tutorial or document explaining how to autostart an odoo server on boot on a Mac. Fortunately I know my ways on the Mac OS and I'm almost there. I already managed to autostart odoo on boot, but I'm getting some errors on the main page. As soon as everything is sorted out I will post full instructions on how to do it.

I'm not sure how easily this can be done on Mac unfortunately (Mac user here as well). You can try looking into Bitnami. I know they have some ways of getting it to work, not sure which versions they support. \Bitnami-Odoo on Mac. I haven't gotten to play around with it much myself, but there should be a way to use it since the Mac is Unix based. Hopefully this can help point you in a direction.
