Is there any way to make the badge appear automatically when a product is out of stock?

My 2 cents:
Solution A (Owl - harder)
You need to create an image widget adding the banner to it if the qty available
Solution B (Qweb - easier)
Allways add the banner and just change visibility based on qty available
