I've created an automated action to send an email to our operations manager when a new task is created within a project.  But it it not ending the email.  It looks like it logs it as a note in the chatter but doesn't actually push an email to the email address I set.

You can enable developer mode and navigate to Settings -> Technical -> Emails and check the emails there and you can the email status by opening them and check the status.

The email shows it's sent but it's not actually sending to the email inbox of the internal user.
