Hello All. I heard that odoo offers the possibility of developing an app. I need a virtual classroom with all the features a classroom should have. Is there anybody here who can do this job for me? Thanks.

Hello. First of all, I´m not a developer. I´m already struggling with the simplest tasks, so, far from developing an app on my own. I had a look at the e-learning app and saw that the feature for the student to type in answers or comments is missing. Again, the participant can see documents if the tutor shares his/her desktop, the idea is to upload them to the app to open all documents from the app itself. I need a developer or somebody who can walk me through the process. I hear your comments. Thanks.

to be honest. I am not very familiar with the eLearning App. I have tested the module a few times, but not in production.
If i remember right, by using quizzes you are not able to create answers that needs to be typed in a texbox. I think its just multiple choice.
I can have a look to the module to see if this changed or if i am missing something.
Providing documents in a course is not be a problem.
If you want to get more into detail, you can contact me via business mail. But as mentioned. Not a lot of experience in this module. I just can remember, that setting it up and using it was no rocket science.
Comment function is available in general. I think it depends where you exactly want to have the comment function.
Just took a quick look due to curiosity.
Multiline or singleline textboxes does not seemt to be available in quizzes. This is quite clear, as you will not be able to set the "right answer" checkbox for text input boxes.
But you can manage to use text input by using the survey app. This will be installed if you activate the certification option in the eLearning settings. Its just not linked to the course itself, where you have to manage the documents for the course.

in general you can use Odoo Studio (Enterpreise feature) to develop apps.
Alternatively, you can request a developer to perform the work.
Could you precise the features you need to have?
Maybe you should have a look to the eLearning App. If this suits your needs, i would advice to use this App.
