i have tried this patch

But after applied patch. i can see only database selector form. if i any select any one database to load . i got page isnt redirect properly or too many redirect error problem.
So how to solve it. any one tried this patch ???
Also how to appy this patch properly ?
Note: i also tired with different browser. same problem only
