I have my odoo12 run on ec2 instance t2 micro. I have a restaurant and I use the point of sale for billing and kot. The internet connection is a bit bad so the internet stops working sometimes. Although once I've loaded the pos, the pos does work. But when I tried closing the session, the connection got lost and it showed the message cannot connect to the server. I had to stop and start the instance again, to get odoo Working, but I post all my pos data for that particular session. Is there a solution to this?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

The POS data should remain in the local storage of your POS browser until the synchronisation is completed, this is not related to the restart of your server. Can you retry to close your session?
There are times when I try and close the session, or reload it, it results in "Server did not respond" or "Site cannot be reached" and then on every browser or device it shows the same message. So I have to restart instance, because somehow that is what is helping me get odoo back. I try reclosing but the same "site cannot be reached" message is displayed
