Hi, anyone can explain what is the difference between"Administration- Settings and Administration- Access Rights" in V10. Settings --> Users --> access group.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

Basically administrator settings contain the groups so those are either application wise or standalone. After creating the groups , you have to give the access rights to that group.
Let's assume, sales manager is my group and I assigned that group to user. now have to allocate the access rights so the group user can create new products. And for that have to give the create access of product model to that group.
Also, we can use this groups for visibility, like if want the sales order confirm button can only visible if user having manager group.
Hello Divya,
If you are give any user Administration- Settings than that user able to see the menu Apps and In Settings menu > General Settings also accessible.
Administration- Access Rights > User Not able to see Apps menu and user not allow to change the General Settings.
