Thank you for your response, but I am looking for a way to add states to the widget kanban_state which shows the grey, green, and red dot indicators identified by kanban_state_label.  I would like to add more of these easily changed kanban state labels and provide notifications to followers based on the change of states.

Hi,

Not sure whether this is what you are looking for, if you take the kanban view of the project, you can see a plus button at the right side to add the new column into the kanban view, you can use it to add new one.

Also you can check the Project -> Configuration -> Stages menu .
