Hi all


We are a renovation company wanting to use Odoo. The use case we want is super simple but I can't manage to find it:

  • We create a sales order for a renovation project
  • We purchase some construction material throughout the project
  • I created a general product "Material" which can be expensed
  • We upload the bills in the Accountancy app
  • I add a product "Material" to the bill and add the analytic account of our sales order
  • I see the "Material" line appear on the invoice corresponding with the cost


3 problems:

  1. I want to use a 20% margin reinvoicing this to the customer -> do I have to do this manually on the sales order?
  2. I use the "AI OCR" to read the invoices, when I change the lines to the "Material" product, all the details including the line price dissapears and changes to the general "Material" price
