I am having problems adding a currency. My form does not have currency Symbol field so when I press press save odoo is complaining of the currency Symbol being a mandatory field but there is no field on the form. Is it a bug in Odoo or something I am missing.

You need to activate the developer mode before adding, after you can see the field for symbol.
