Let's say i made a detailed quotation of a computer with lots of different parts. Re-quoting untill the customer is satisfied with the computer, all its components and the price for 1 computer.

Now the customer wants to order 25 of these computers for his company.

What is the best way to create a (new) quotation still having the computer with all its parts visible in the quotation, the total price of 1 pc and the amount for 25 pcs.

Hi,

Either you can make changes in the current quotation by edit and changing the price and products in the order line and resubmit the same to the customer. Once you update the order line with new price and product either you can a log note in the quotation or take the print out of the send quotation and store along with it for the history.


The other available option is to create a new quotation and submit to the customer. If you are not satisfied with the above, you can change/customize the system accordingly.
