In Odoo 9.0, whenever the Import Button is pressed the registry cannot find base_import.import. This is a Transient model that should be listed in ir_model and ir_model_fields but is not present. base_import.tests.models.char etc. are present in ir_model but not base_import.import.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the Base Import module to no avail. I am guessing that the module installation should populate the registry items on install? Any help appreciated on this issue.
