Hi All

I am trying to change the date format of my odoo v10 installation.

Reading around, I understood  that I need to give technical rights to the Admin.

Can you please explain to me how to do that with odoo v10 and ubuntu 16?

You should automatically be on the dashboard when going to "Setting".

"Settings" to get the dashboard, then -> Activate developer mode (4th column from left)

In my installation I do not have the Settings->Dashboard menu.

If I select "Settings" on the horizontal menu, I get the following vertical menu:

Users

     Users

     Companies

Translations

     Load a Translation


Could it come from a wrong installation? Or Am I missing some setting for my admin account?

See my amended answer. If you still do not see the dashboard, you should first update your installation.
