Does any Odooers :)  have a transcript on how to setup a subscription for a product as opposed to a service or learning?

Similar to the the tutorial of "Furniture store and Subscription"

Hi,

Setting up a subscription for a physical product works the same way as the Furniture Store tutorial; the key is in the product configuration:

  1. Enable Subscriptions: Go to Subscriptions > Configuration > Settings and make sure the module is active.
  2. Configure the product: Open the product form, set the product type to Storable Product (instead of Service), then under the Sales tab enable "Recurring" and assign a Recurrence Plan (monthly, yearly, etc.).
  3. Create the subscription: Go to Subscriptions > New, add the customer, select your product, and confirm. Odoo will automatically generate recurring invoices based on the recurrence plan.

The only real difference from a service subscription is making sure your product type is Storable or Consumable and that you have stock management enabled if you need inventory tracking per renewal.
