My functional currency is USD and I have the bank in EUR.
Should I input USD equivalent amount or EUR amount?

You should activate the multicurrency feature and activate both currencies. Then enter the correct exchange rate for the day of the opening balance. Or you can enter the EUR amount AND the USD amount in the opening balance line.

In order to accurately reflect the amount in the account, enter the opening balance in EUR. Odoo will manage the currency conversion to US dollars based on the exchange rate established in your system.
