I don't see a product life-cycle page. If I subscribe to Odoo enterprise and get trapped in an older version can I stay there, or will I be forced into the new version and loose any functionality that I developed.

I know that I should avoid getting version locked by following best practices etc. but it clearly still can happen.

The licence agreement says Odoo only needs to give 30 days notice before the end of our annual subscription if they will not let me renew.

This seems like a big risk to me. So I want to know if anyone is still using version 10 Enterprise.

Thanks. Looks like that although it is a dead end, you don't fall off a cliff if you get stuck in some older version.

Hi Brian,

I think worldwide there will still be a lot of users using an outdated enterprise version of Odoo (even v8 and v9 are used in numerous companies). After release of a new version, this version is maintained for 3 years by Odoo. After that, there will be no more security releases by Odoo. Also, it's still possible to create commits and do bugfixing on github. As said however, it's no longer actively updated by Odoo SA.
