To pay bills by credit card you'll create a journal for the card and register payment on the Vendor Bill using this credit card journal. This won't actually charge the card so you'll still need to pay your vendor outside of Odoo.

An alternative approach is you still create the journal for the credit card, pay your vendor externally of Odoo and use the bank statement reconciliation tool to then hit the corresponding expense account.
